Why Complying with NIS-2 Pays Off for You

The EU's new directive made quite a splash at first. By now you probably know whether your company is affected or not. But even if there is no acute need for action on your side, you should still implement the directive. Complying early pays off twice: less risk now, less rework later.

What does NIS-2 require from companies that fall under the directive?

NIS-2 is regarded as an attempt to improve cybersecurity across Europe in a uniform way. The law is already in force and must be transposed into the national law of all member states by October 17.

The following IT security measures will then become binding for affected companies:

In addition, a reporting obligation for cyberattacks means that the new security solutions must deliver the best possible protection and, at the same time, be able to produce detailed reports.
