A year full of innovation and progress
2024 was a resounding success for KAEMI: from introducing new IT security concepts to strengthening our partnership with Cloudflare . Together we delivered forward-looking projects. Join us for a journey through the highlights of the past year.
PROJECT TELLUS in its final phase
In 2024, KAEMI made significant progress within project Tellus, which is part of the Gaia-X initiative. We successfully contributed to the design and definition of the technical architecture, an important milestone. This technical architecture was designed to create an interoperable interconnection infrastructure for different cloud services, suited in particular to sensitive applications.
Beyond that, KAEMI worked with nine other partners to define concrete use cases that place high demands on connectivity, such as the real-time creation of digital twins in Industry 4.0. The requirements analysis and the design phase for the network and cloud layers were also completed successfully, putting the company in a good position for the upcoming implementation phase.
With TELLUS, we are fundamentally changing how network and cloud resources are provisioned: secure, dynamic, and automated. In our upcoming demo, we show how companies can benefit from our innovative architecture.
**Highlights of the demo at the Gaia-X Expo funding competition” at the Digital Forum of the Fraunhofer Institute in Berlin:

👉 Secure services: Thanks to the VPN overlay and the TELLUS architecture, resources can be booked efficiently and securely.
👉 Innovative use cases: For example, the remote control of robots with guaranteed network quality, demonstrated by comparing a secure TELLUS connection with the public internet.
👉 User-friendly UI: Our API-driven interface makes booking resources remarkably simple and shows how the supernode and the service registry interact at their best.
The publicly funded research project (BMWK) brought together 9 partners from different industries. Together we showed that network and cloud resources can be provisioned across company boundaries in minutes. Until now, that takes weeks.

IT security at a new level:
ASDP status with Cloudflare
A special highlight of 2024 was our new status as Authorized Service Delivery Partner (ASDP) for ZERO TRUST and, since December, also for **MAGIC NETWORK SERVICES (as the 2nd company worldwide!) ** with **Cloudflare** . With this, we took a decisive step forward to support our customers even better in implementing modern security solutions.
As a Cloudflare partner, we rely on advanced security concepts such as Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). These technologies increase security and flexibility: every access is verified, and sensitive company data stays protected.
In 2024, our team played a key role in guiding companies through the implementation of these solutions, significantly strengthening the IT security of our partners.
What are Magic Network Services?
Cloudflare Magic Network Services is a suite of cloud-based network services that replace traditional network infrastructure with flexible, global, and secure solutions. Benefits include optimized performance, integrated Zero Trust security features, lower operating costs, and simplified management of network connectivity and security.

Recognized twice as a top MSP in DACH
This year, KAEMI was recognized by Cloudtango AND Channelpartner as one of the top managed service providers (MSP) in Germany. This recognition highlights the company's technical excellence, innovative strength, and high customer satisfaction. KAEMI has made a name for itself by delivering first-class IT solutions, cybersecurity services, and cloud services, regularly exceeding its customers' expectations.
The award is based on a comprehensive analysis that considers factors such as cybersecurity, support, infrastructure, and cloud services. KAEMI stood out particularly in agile cloud connectivity and managed services, which further reinforced the positive feedback from customers. These successes stand for continuous service improvement and for solutions oriented to the demands of the market.
